Nobuta Wo Produce on Philippine tv

yesterday, one of my friends texted something like "Nobuta Wo Produce has a commercial in ABS-CBN"
and i got, of course, shocked.
i was thinking...it shouldn't be...
i mean, knowing ABS-CBN, whenever a foreign drama becomes famous or high-rating thay manage to bring those artist here.
so, Nobuta Wo Produce in Phil. is like a big NO for me as of now..xD
i'm selfish..

after that text message,
i immediately texted Kuya Jeff (the voice behind Nakatsu in Hana Kimi, Jumong, Son Goku, Michael of It Started With a Kiss and many more)
and asked him if they are dubbing a drama entitled "Nobuta Wo Produce"

his answer is this:
"Yes we are."

my reaction: 0_o

i texted him again, who will you be dubbing?

he replied with: "i'll be voicing AKIRA..."

same reaction ne.

then, he texted again saying "KON KON"...ok, so it was confirmed.

by the way, long time ago, that was around year 2007, Kuya Jeff had mentioned to me that they had finished dubbing One Liter of Tears and last year Nodame Cantabile... yes, there's a possibility that those drama will appear very soon. the dubbing artist/company are only responsible for the dubbing so more or less they have no idea when those dramas will be shown.

Kuya Louie Paraboles also told me before that they were dubbing Hana Kimi, Precious Time and Water Boys...al those dramas were shown already ne.^^

if it's abs-cbn, then it's okay. ^^ 'cause their dubbing is great.

but, as for the cast coming here, i don't think so. johnny won't allow that...

i read about this too in my clanmates' gms, @-@ i dont want NBW to be aired here in the phil. x(( look at what happened to Toma, local fangirls were like hogging him for themselves. DDDx

i was really depressed mina-chan..my sisters and i were like doomed yesterday..haha!
yamapi is one of my big crushes, and people who will try to get yamapi will lead to news fandom..and and...then..to JE..then..to all our boys!!! waaah!

So after precious times, ABS-CBN's japanese drama will/can be Nobuta wo Produce.

If ever, ABS can bring even one of them here, just like F4 and two members of Fahrenheit, I myself won't know what will happen ll!

But, if ABS will mellow things a bit like Fahrenheit and not make it such a "big" promotion out of it(*cough* F4cough*)(our)JE fandom won't be that too exposed and won't be a >cheap< fad that would last for 2 years or less.

At least, ABS is gearing into showing japanese dramas maybe because of Leah Dizon and Hayami Mocomichi(which is in the front page of ABS-CBN's Japanese website)

I'm 50/50 about this one... well it's nice that J-dramas are being shown here (our local TV is very much saturated with K-dramas already); on the other hand, I share the same sentiments of the other people who commented here. I don't want our beloved JE boys to go "bakya/baduy"... Sorry if that sounded elitist, but knowing the fans here... O:

Please don't flame me, I'm just voicing out my opinion...

ok... i was nonetheless also shocked with the news but i remember that this was already shown before that there were certain jdoramas that both Philippine TV giants were airing like HanaKimi.

I am totally against JDoramas being shown in the Philippines because *ahem* I'm selfish... lol... Our fandom shouldn't be disgraced with unloyal fans bickering that they've known these artist for like forever, *ARGH* I couldn't stand the F4 craze before...

Thing is I find good light that it is ABS who is airing Nobuta wo Produce, I mean no offense but the other company's dubbing *ahem* really *ahem* sucks (but still, I'd rather hear Akira with his real voice, Kon-Kon!).

actually, there's no such thing as GMA's dubber or ABS-CBN's dubber coz all dubbers are in a different company..dubbers of gma are dubbers in abs too.^^

i also don't like unloyal fans coming..it gives me goosebumps..xD

Since it's still a Kyoko Fukada drama (AND another JE lead guy ><^v^><, I think ABS ought to air it maybe before or after NwP if ever...

as i said, dubbers only do the dubbing, the timeslot and when exactly the drama will air is up to the station company.^^
dubbers have their own thing ne.hehe.
kuya louie who dubbed Takki for SOS and the lead guy in Precious Time told me he doesn't know why the drama (SOS) isn't showing yet.

On the contrary what amuses me would be the fact that Nakatsu (Toma) and Akira(Yamapi) dubber is the same! LOL! Oh I just love the TomaPi connection again!
